ABOUT LUNAVEST

We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard

Lunavest, founded in June 2024, is a Belgian evergreen investment company focused on acquiring (minority) stakes in small- to medium-sized, cashflow-generating growth companies. We provide capital for growth or help structure buyouts involving significant reinvestment by the active founders and/or operational management.

Lunavest is managed by a dynamic team, under the leadership of Luc and Simon Synaeghel. They bring extensive knowhow and experience in the field of corporate and financial strategy, and can also support participations by calling upon their very large (international) network of partners, advisers and (co-)investors. The aim being to roll out company growth plans, through both operational and strategic input, as well as financial support during the acceleration phase.

...because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one we intend to win

AMBITIONS

GROWING TOGETHER

Lunavest believes in sustainable growth, driven by a strong collaboration between entrepreneurs and investors. We support companies not only with capital, but also with strategic insight and a shared long-term vision. By building the future and investing together, we generate added value for all involved.

RELATIONSHIP

Lunavest invests with a long-term perspective and takes an active and hands-on role as shareholder. It is of great importance to us that entrepreneurs remain at the helm of their company, and we are happy to support them in achieving their ambitions (serving for instance as a sounding board for strategic decisions, helping them draw up budgets and financial plans, etc.).

TARGET PORTFOLIO

Lunavest aims for a diversified portfolio, including both active shareholdings and ‘passive’ co-investments in club deals. We believe in the power of cross-fertilisation between companies, but without this being an absolute prerequisite. Our goal is to identify and help strategic and financially attractive investments during their next phase of growth.
